Our Story
Brooks Greenhouse Grocery, formerly Brooks Home and Farm, began in 2022 when then High School Senior, Brooks-Carter, CEO and Founder of the Brooks Carter Ventures opened his first farmer’s market in Guilford County at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market and began selling direct to door across the triad region of North Carolina. Â
In 2023, we expanded our market operations to the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market, the Western North Carolina Farmers Market, in addition to local pop-up markets and small wholesale accounts. We added new products and expanded our agricultural offering to include a wide selection of greenhouse and nursery stock in addition to one of the largest pumpkin offerings in the state. Â
Beyond our products and story is a simple mission, to create an all-local marketplace that bridges the gap between regional producers and consumers. When you shop at Brooks, you’ll notice all of our products are made locally in the Carolinas. Shopping small has never been easier thanks to our collaborative network of local vendors across the Carolinas dedicated to providing your family with access to shop, "Local All Together !"
